The Duchess of Cambridge conveyed this solemn news through a video message released on Friday. In her message, Middleton disclosed that despite initial indications from her abdominal surgery pointing to a non-cancerous condition, subsequent tests confirmed the presence of cancer. “This news was incredibly shocking, and William and I have been handling it privately for the sake of our young family,” said Kate, aged 42, in the video.
“As you can imagine, it has been a process. Recovering from major surgery was necessary before starting treatment.”
