Beyond her role on the venerable daytime chat show, however, the Till actress has also been open and honest about marriage over the years. Goldberg has three marriages under her belt. In 1973, Goldberg married drug counselor Alvin Martin at the age of 18. In that same year, the couple welcomed a daughter named Alexandrea. Six years later, in 1979, the couple filed for divorce. She was then married to cinematographer David Claessen from 1986 to 1988. Her third and final marriage was to actor Lyle Trachtenberg in 1994, though they divorced the following year. She would rather live alone. In 2016, Goldberg made headlines when she told the New York Times that she was “not that interested” in getting married, mainly because she preferred living alone.
